On December 8, the loyalists (SAA, Hezbollah , Iraqi and Iranian militias) seized Qal’ajiyah, Khalasah and Zaytan. Fighting reported in Zorbah outskirts. On the same day, the rebels recaptured Banes.
On December 12, 2015, the loyalist forces captured Sa’ibiyah, Murayqis, Abu Ru’ayl and Kuraytah. Fighting was also reported in Qarasi area.
On December 13, they tried to advance toward Banes which they claimed later to have captured.
On December 14, the rebels announced to have killed more than 80 «shia militiamen» in Banes battle
On December 20, 2015, loyalist forces (SAA, Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba, and other militias) captured Qarasi, Khan Tuman and Khalidiyah.
On December 21, fighting is reported in Khalidiyah area near M5 road.
